Constitutional Convention Vocabulary Words

term a set period of time; length of time for holding office
Congress the Legislative branch of government; the House of Representatives and Senate.
commerce the buying and selling of goods; trade
representation a system in which people elect representatives to pass their laws.

House of Representatives lower house of Congress; the number from each state is determined by the population of the state.
