How does geograhpy help us learn about history? It can give clues about ancient people who lived there.
What can oral traditions tell us? It gves information about a society's way of life.
geography The study of the earth's survace and the process that shape it.
What do scientists study to learn about prehistory? They study, the remains of, and objects that belong to ancient people. They learn about their history including words, religions, and rulers. What the people did during the day, ate, and even the climate.

archaeologists a scientst who examines objects to learn about the human past
oral traditions stories passed down by word of mouth from generation to generation
Why are oral traditions important? Gives us information about events that have taken place
Why are records important? Gives us information that is recorded about events that have taken place.
How can the study of geography help us understand history? Weather patterns, water supply, location, and landscape give us information about how people lived.
