What do mineral corticoids do? | Electrolyte balance by promoting sodium retention and K+ secretion. |
What is the difference between Cushing’s disease and Cushing’s syndrome? | Disease –abnormally increased secretion (endogenous) of cortisol,caused by increased amounts of ACTH: syndrome-chronic and excessive production of cortisol or the administration of glucocorticoids in large doses for several wks or longer. |
