What did the Fundamental Orders of Connecticut do? It was Connecticut's constitution that protected the indivitual rights of Connecticut's colonists.

What was the importance of the Mayflower Compact? It made the goverment and protected indivitual rights. It created self rule and majority rules. Also it made New lawas and repersenstative goverment.

What is the significance of Columbus's discovery of the New World? Countries could expand to this new land. He founded the New World.
What two European countries became rivals of England for land in North America? And Why? Spain and France. They both wanted to claim the land too.
