Correlation | a relationship between 2 interval/rank-order variables in which their values move in accordance with one another to a lesser, moderate, or greater degree -only detects r/ship -correlation is not equal to cause. |
Relationship | 2 variables are connected, eg in + r/ship, (move in the same direction)or in - r/ship they move in opposite directions. |
Correlation coefficient | indicates the direction (+/-) and strength (perfect, strong, moderate, weak or none) of a relationship |
