Info for ID injections 26-27 gauge, max 1 mL of fluid, and at a 15 degree angle
Sites for Sub-Q route adb, upper hips, upper back, later upper arm and thighs
Info for Sub-Q route 25-27 gauge, usually 1/2-5/8 inch length, 45 degree angle, pinch the skin
Sites and fluid max for IM Deltoid 1 mL, only for adults, Lateralis site (preferred site for children) and the ventrogluteal site.
Info for IM route never more than 4 mLs, 1.5 inch needle generally, and 21-23 gauge needle, 90 degree angle of attack, pull skin taut
