Reservoir Place where microorganisms survive, multiply, and wait to transfer to susceptible host
Reservoir Characteristics Food available, Moisture, Aerobes, Anaerobes, Temperature favorable, pH range 5-8, Dark
Inflammatory response Protective reaction that neutralizes pathogens and repairs body cells
Inflammation A protective vascular reaction that delivers fluid, blood products, and nutrients to interstitial tissues in an area of injury
