What was new technology in 1790-1810 Railroads, steamboats, cotton gin, harvester, mechanical reaper, and anestisia.
Why did indians keep receading their land and giving it to the americans? Because they knew if they tried to fight them for thier land they would lose.
What were georgias boundries in 1760,1790,and 1800? 1760-Atlantic Ocean, 1790-Mississippi river, and 1800-Chattahoochee river
What was the headright system of giving land away? The head of the familly got the land when they moved to G.A. You had to be 21 to be considered the head of the familly.
What was the land lottery system of giveng land away? People paid to get a ticket to put in a lottery. If they won they got the land that was being raffled. You got 1 ticket if you were an unmarried man, a widdow, or an orphan. You got 2 tickets if you were a man with a wife and kids.
What were georgias capitals from 1733-1868? 1733-Savanna, 1786-Agusta, 1796-Louisville, 1807-Milledgeville, 1868-Atlanta
Why was atlanta believed to not work when it began? It was the only city in Georgia that was not located by a river and relied on a railroad.
Manifest destiny the beleif that the U.S. should go from the atlantic to the pacific.
