Power of state government the power of the state gov. was to: regulate education, grant licenses, provide police and fire protection, regulate sale of property in the state
shared power between natural and state government shared powers between them were: levy taxes, court system that defines crimes/ punishment and determine voting qualifictaions
federalist and their arguments for constitution Constitution was a good balance of power, could draft army and tax
antifederalist and their argument against constitution too much power, to tax and to the fed gov, constitution not have section for individual rights

what is the Bill of Rights? gave individual freedom to citizens which the declaration of independence wanted
How does the bill of rights effect constitution? formed the first 10 amendments to the constitution
Reson U.S. constitution is still used more than 200 years later. it is a living document so things that go wrong at one point can be changed and edited to fit modern times
