Osteopathic Medicine founded by Andrew Taylor in the U.S. in 1874
Osteopathic Medicine emphasizes interrelationship of the body's nerves, muscles, bones, adn organs
Osteopathic Medicine involves treating the whole person, recognizing the body's ability to heal itself, and stressing the importance of diet, exercise, and fitness with a focus on prevention
Herbal therapy warning herbs can aid in healing but they also can harm
Relaxation Therapies progressive muscle relaxation, guided imagery, biofeedback, massage therapy, aquatherapy, and heat and cold application
