Define Neo-Imperialism A modern form of imperialsim as opposed to Victoria's reign. It is defined as taking over other countries due to economic, political, and defensive means.

Who was apart of the the Foreign Policy Elite (1897-1901)? A group of men under McKinley's administration who were pro-imperialist and consisted of Theodore Roosevelt (asst. sect. of Navy/VP 1900), John Hay (Sect. State), Elihu Root (Sect. War), Henry C. Lodge (Pres. Foreign Relations committee).
What were the goals of the Foreign Policy Elite? To administer a "progressive state" and to spread imperialism and international business.
