The Church and Ministry

3 Criteria to help us hear God's voice about a specific ministry | 1. A sense of "oughtness" (I need to) 2. The calling of God is to accomplish something we can't do on our own (w/o God) 3. The call of God gives deep satisfaction/joy. |
1 Corinthians 12:12 | The Body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one Body. So it is with Christ. |
The Church is a lay movement | It is the responsibility of all members to participate in ministry & in all areas of our life; it is not only done by Church leaders or only in the church blgd. |
Ministry is | Serving. Both the gathered and scattered so all will see and hear the Good News of the Gospel. |
Ministry flows from being | From being to doing. I have redeemed through J.C., adopted into His family. J.C. is my foundation and by His grace and the gifts of the H.S., I will profess the Bible and show God's love through ministry. |
