What is the Bill of Rights? The Bill of Rights are the first 10 amendments that give us our everyday rights.
What are the 5 parts of the 1st Amendment? Freedom of Speech; Freedom of Religion; Freedom of the Press; Freedom of Assembly; Right to petition the Government.
What are the two Clauses that talk about Freedom of Religion? The Establishment clause and the Free Exercise Clause.
What is the 2nd Amendment? The 2nd Amendment states that you have the right to bear arms.
What is the 3rd Amendment? The 3rd Amendment says that citizens cannot be forced to house Soldiers in their homes.
What is 4th Amendment? The 4th Amendment states that you have a right against unreasonable searches and right to privacy.
What is the components of the 5th Amendment? You cannot try a person on a trial twice, you cannot make a person testify against themselves, you cannot take away someones liberty with out good reasons, you cannot take away a person's [rp[erty unless the person is fairly paid for said property.
What are the rights in the 6th Amendment? The right to a speedy public trial, the right to a jury, the right to be told what you are accused of, face the people that say he is wrong, Call a witness, and have an attorney.
What is the 7th amendment? The right to a jury trial.
What is the 8th Amendment? A person charged with a crime has a right to a fair fine. There cannot be any cruel or unusal punishments
I was arrested on a parking ticket, and the Judge sentenced me to 100 years in prison. Do I have a right to a different punishment? Yes, due to the 8th Amendment.
I was wearing a shirt that says "The President Sucks" and I was arrested. Do i have a right to not be arrested? Yes, due to the 1st amendment.
My gun was taken away because Congress passed a law banning guns. Do i have a right to change that law? Yes, due to the 2nd Amendment.
Three soliders came into my house and demanded they stay. Do I have a right to kick them out? Yes, due to the 3rd amdendment.
The Police searched my locker because I smelled funny. Do I have a right to stop the search? Yes, due to the 4th Amendment.
I was on trial 3 weeks ago, and they want to try me on trial again? Do I have a right to refuse the trial? Yes, due to the 5th amendment.
The mayor says that he is going to run my trial by hisself. Do i have a right to stop him? Yes, due to the 7th amendment.
Ive been in jail for 10 years for shoplifting and i haven't got a trial. Do i have a right to a trial? Yes, due to the 6th Amendment.
