cl liq or CL | Clear liquids only: ginger ale, tea, broth, gelatin, lemon-lime soda drinks, coffee |
DAT | Diet as tolerated |
Enteral feedings | tube feeding (into stomach or small intestines) |
FF or PF | Force or Push fluids; increasing the liquid intake by addition of extra fluids |
F liq | Full liquid with addition of milk and milk products; liquid at room temperature |
High fiber | Refular diet with increased amounts of foods containing dietary fiber |
Low chol | restricted cholesterol (200-300 mg) |
Low fat | Restricted fat (<30% of total calories) |
Low Na, low salt, salt free | restricted sodium, ordered by mg or Gm of sodium desired (2 Gm Na, 1000 mg Na) |
