PUSH FACTORS NEGATIVE things about a place that make people want to LEAVE
PULL FACTORS POSITIVE things about a place that make people want to GO there
INTERVENING OBSTACLES things which may make it DIFFICULT for a person to migrate
MIGRATE to MOVE from one place to another to live
EMIGRANT a person who LEAVES a country to live somewhere else
MIGRATION the PROCESS of people moving from one place to another to live
