Bloodflow of the heart
Question |
---|
All of the deoxygenated blood comes in from the bodies tissues and gets pumped into the RIGHT ATRIUM via the VENA CAVA(the biggest vein the body) |
from the RIGHT ATRIUM the deoxygenated blood will flow throught the TRICUSPID VALVE into the RIGHT VENTRICLE |
From the RIGHT VENTRICLE the deoxygenated blood will flow through the PULMONARY SEMILUNAR VALVE into one of the two PULMONARY ARTERIES(the only arteries that carry deoxygenated blood) |
From the PULMONARY ARTERIES the deoxygenated blood goes into the LUNGS to get oxygenated and comes out of one of the four PULMONARY VEINS(the only veins that carry oxygenated blood) |
From the PULMONARY VEINS the oxygenated blood will flow through the LEFT ATRIUM |
From the LEFT ATRIUM the oxygenated blood will flow through the MITRAL(BICUSPID) VALVE into the LEFT VENTRICLE |
From the LEFT VENTRICLE the oxygenated blood will flow through the AORTIC SEMILUNAR VALVE into the AORTA |
From the AORTA(the biggest artery in the body) all of the oxygenated blood will be pumped throughout the entire body to repeat the process all over again |
