What was the "Bay of Pigs?" Invasion of Cuba to start revolt against Castro, failed for the lack of U.S. support
Cuban missile crisis? A u-2 spotted a bunch of missiles in Cuba, Kennedy blockaded Cuba and ordered missile removal
Why was the Berlin wall built? To prevent people from leaving east Berlin
What happened to Lee Harvey Oswald? Accused of killing president Kennedy
Who was Jack Ruby? The man who killed Oswald
Lyndon Johnson? Kennedy's vice president, 36th president
What was the "Great society"? Johnson's program
What did the 24th amendment do? Outlawed the poll tax
What did medicare do? Gave health insurance to the elderly
Who was Thurgood Marshall First black man on the supreme court
Civil rights event of the 1960's? March in Washington, sit-ins, civil rights act, and Selma freedom march
