QuestionAnswer
What kind of blood enters the vena cava? De-oxygenated.
What is the function of the atria? They are collecting chambers.
What is the purpose of the bicuspid valve? Prevent backflow.
Where does the blood go from the pulmonary artery? To the lungs.
What happens to the blood at the lungs? It becomes oxygenated.
What is the purpose of the ventricles? The are pumping chambers.
Where does the oxygenated blood go from the aorta? The body.
