Phase Two | Discomfort increases, feelings of helplessness occur because coping skills used fail, Confusion and disorganization |
Phase Three | all possible resources are activated to solve the problem and ease the discomfort |
anxiety may escalate to severe and panic levels, fight or flight kicks in | Phase Three |
