Dmitri mendeleev Discovered a pattern to elements in 1869,pattern repeated every 7 elements-the periodic table of elements.
Henry Moseley Came up with the atomic number, number of protons.
Periodic law The repeating chemical and physical properties of an elements change periodically with the elements atomic number.
Metals Few electrons in outer level, solid at room temp,shiny,good conductors of electric current,malleable,good conductor of thermal energy.
Nonmetals Not malleable, or ductile, not shiny, and not good conductors of thermal energy or Electric current.
Metalloids Semiconductors, some are malleable, some are shiny,some are ductile.
Hydrogen Lonesome group of elements. Nonmetal,1 electron in outer shell, reactive, don't match any groups.
Four forces Gravitational force, electromagnetic forrce, string force, and weak force.
