Geriatrics | The branch of medicine pertaining to elderly people |
Gerontology | Study of the problem of the aging in all aspects |
Line of Gravity | The vertical line that passes through the center of gravity |
Metabolism | The sum total of all the physical and chemical changes that takes place in an organism |
Mineral | An inorganic element or compound occurring in nature |
Nutrients | Food that supplies the body with its necessary elements |

Posture | The relationship of the various parts of the body to one another when standing, sitting or lying |
Protein | An organic substance that is composed of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen |
Reality Orientation | Technique to prevent confusion or disorientation |
Senility | Pertaining to the physical and/or mental deterioration associated with aging |
Vitamin | Any of the group of organic substances other than protein, fats, minerals and carbohydrates which are essential for metabolism, growth and development of body |
