| EBA | Emotional Bank Account

| What is an EBA? | The idea that we build relationships using a metaphorical bank account where deposits and withdrawals represent emotional input.

| Withdrawal EBA | A withdrawal from an EBA means the other party took away from the emotional bank; ex: asked you to attend a seminar and take notes for you.

| Neutral EBA | This is a transaction that effects both parties equally. Ex: Took coworker to lunch so we could discuss work project.

| Deposit EBA | When someone makes a deposit into your EBA that they do not gain from. Ex: Bought you tickets to see your favorite band for no special reason.
