Nuclear Membrane   Protects the nucleus, allows things to go in and out

Cytosol (Cytoplasm)   Gel-like fluid that the organelles float in

Endoplasmic Reticulum   Network of passages to move materials around the cell, "Highway"

Ribosomes   Tiny factories to produce proteins " The Builder"

Golgi Bodies/Golgi Apparatus   Receives material from ER, packages it, and sends it, mailroom "The Mailman"

Chloroplasts/The chef   Captures energy from sunlight and uses it to produce food for the cell. Contains the chemical chlorophyll.
