| Igneous rocks | Rocks formed by volcanic activity |

| Sandstone | A red/cream/brown sedimentary rock formed with worn away sand |
| Marble | A white/green/black smooth metamorphic rock (was originally limestone before) |
| Quartz | A white/grey grainy metamorphic rock (was originally sandstone) |
