| Simulate | To imitate how something happens in a real-world situation by acting it out with a model. |

| Epidemiologist | A scientist who studies diseases and how they spread. |

| Communicable disease | A disease that spreads very readily from person to person. |
| Non- communicable disease | A disease that cannot be passed on by the person who is sick to other people. |

| Antibiotic | A type of medicine that kills germs or prevents them from growing. |
