| chronic diseases | a disease that usually lasts 3 months and might get worse over time (cancer) |
| infectious diseases | caused by bacteria, viruses, parasites; can be spread (Covid 19) |
| genetic diseases | when a mutation (harmful change to a gene) changes your genetic material in a harmful way (Down Syndrome) |
| Malthusian's Theory | Population growth is exponential while food is linear, leading to producing to living standards |
| Pronatalist | Someone who encourages others to have children |
| Eugenic Population Policies | Favors one racial group |
| Antinatalist | Belief that it is wrong to have children |
