| Hindsight Bias | Belief after the fact that you could have predicted the outcome. |
| Overconfidence | The tendency to think we know more than we do. |
| Perceiving patterns in random events | Humans like order, We see patterns where they don't exist because it brings comfort. |
| Descriptive | Often describes behavior by using case studies, surveys or naturalistic behavior. |
| Correlational | Associate different factors or variables (refers to anything that contributes to a result). |
| Experimental | Manipulated variables to discover their efforts. |
| Survey | Pro: Large sample size Con:Must make sure to use random sampling or you get sampling bias |
| Naturalistic observation | Pro: No interferences comparatively easy to carry out. Con: Does not demonstrate causation |
| Case study | Pro: Very in-depth knowledge about a unique case that cannot be replicated for ethical reasons Con: Results may nit be generalizable |
| Samplig bias | Why is it bad: A flawed sampling process that produces an unrepresented sample How do we fix it: You want to get a random sample |
| Wording effects | Why is it bad: It may cause data to become more inaccurate How to fix it: You want to make sure you are wording the question in the most accurate way |
