| Term | Definition |
| Ovary | The reproductive gland in females that produces ova (eggs) and hormones such as estrogen and progesterone. |
| Uterus | A hollow muscular organ in females where a fertilized egg implants and develops during pregnancy, it is also involved in the menstrual cycle. |
| Cervicitis | An inflammation of the cervix, often caused by infections, which can lead to discomfort and complications if untreated. |
| Endometriosis | A condition in which tissue similar to the lining inside the uterus grows outside the uterus, often causing pain and possibly affecting fertility. |
| Adenocarcinoma | A type of cancer that originates in glandular tissue, including that of the breast, often necessitating early diagnosis and treatment. |
