What is a pulley? A wheel mechanism witch helps to move or lift objects
What is a v-grove used for? Protection. So the belt will not slip off the pulley
Give a disadvantage of using pulleys The belts can slip and this can cause loss of power
What can be done to overcome a pulley slipping? A toothed pulley belt could be used
How would a person change the direction of motion using a pulley system? Cross the belt of the pulley
