5th Scientific Process

scientific method a process that scientists use to investigate and answer questions
hypothesis the underlying idea or statement that is used for further study or investigation (guess/prediction)
variable anything that you can change in an experiment that might affect the outcome
data information, often int he form of facts or figures, that is obtained from experimentation and observation
process a series of steps to produce or prepare something
analyze to examine by separating into parts and studying their relationships
conclusions the decisions made or the opinion formed based on the analysis of the data gathered
