homologous chromosomes | chromosomes that have the same gene sequence and structure. |
genotype | the entire genetic makeup of an organism also the combination of genes for a specific trait. |
fossil | the remains or trace of an organism that lived long ago. |
Ribosome | a cell organelle made of RNA and protein where proteins get synthesized in a cell . |
generation time | the period between the birth of one generation and the birth of the next generation. |
