Sound

TermDefinition
sound A form of energy produced by vibrating objects.
vibration A rapid back-and-forth movement that produces sound.
pitch How high or low a sound is.
frequency The number of waves that move past a point in a certain amount of time.
wave A repeating up-and-down or back-and-forth movement of matter.
decibel The unit to measure the loudness of sound.
echo A reflected sound.
volume How loud or soft a sound is.
