CPU this is the brains of the computer.It does three jobs 1.the control unit 2.the arthemetic Unit 3.storage meomary.
Information Technology Is the term used to describe the gathering,storing and transfering of information using computers and other electronic devices.
Computer Is and electronic device which can automatically accept data and instructions in process the dataand give up results.
CAD (Computer Aided Design)used to produce architects or engineers drawings.
CAM (Computer Aided Manufacture)used to organise production in factories.
Curser A flashing line or box or arrow that indicates the users position the screen.
Data Processing Involves doing all necessary paperwork for a buisness on a computer.
Modem A device thats links a computer to the telephone devices.
Program A set of instructions that will make the computer complete certain tasks.
Network Where many computers withinan organisation are linked together,so that all of themcan access information from the same source.
Spreadsheet Is used to prepare,mathametical tables such asaccounts,stock reports.
ISP A company that allows you to access the internet Eg:Eircom,Indigo.
