Give me an example of a time when you set a goal and were able to meet or achieve it? Make the story interesting
Give me a specific example of a time when you had to conform to a policy with which you did not agree? Don't forget to use numbers to quantify where possible
Tell me about a time when you had to go above and beyond the call of duty in order to get a job done? Use details such as names to make the story more personal
Tell me about a time when you had too many things to do and you were required to prioritise your tasks? Finish on a positive note
What is your typical way of dealing with conflict? Give me an example? Link to emergency medicine
Tell me about a time you were able to successfully deal with another person even when that individual may not have personally liked you (or vice versa)? Make the action section specific
Tell me about a difficult decision you've made in the last year? A made up story has less detail than a real one. If you do make it up, make it up well!
Give me an example of when you showed initiative and took the lead? You come with a really interesting and broad skill set, show them why it is an advantage to hire you
Tell me about a recent situation in which you had to deal with a very upset customer or co-worker? Don't forget to take credit for actions
Give me an example of a time when you used your fact-finding skills to solve a problem? Remember to stop when you have finished the STAR
Describe a time when you set your sights too high (or too low)? Add some cheese!
