cell The basic unit of structure and function in all living things
organism A living thing
nucleus The brain of the cell
cell membrane Surrounding of the plant cell

multi-cell organism An organism that has more than one cell

inherited trait A characteristic passed from parents to their off spring

electric circuit A continuous pathway that can carry an electric current
series circuit An electric circuit with only one path that current can flow
parallel circuit An electric circuit with two or more paths that current can follow
resistance The measure of how much a material opposes the flow of electric current
short circuit A flaw in a circuit that enables current to flow where it is not wanted
conductor A material trough which heat or electricity flows easily
