Delirium sudden onset of altered mental status
Dementia Chronic condition resulting in the malfunctioning of the cerebral process
Drug Toxicity An adverse or toxic reaction to drugs
Dysrhythmias Irregular contractions of the myocardium secondary to electrical disturbances in the heart
Hyperthermia The body temperature is above 37 (98.6)
Hypothermia The body temp below 37 98.6
Intracranial pressure The pressure inside the skull
Kyphosis abnormal curve in the spine
Neuropathy any disease of the nerves
Osteporosis A degenerative bone disorder associated with the loss of minerals
Pneumonia Infection of the lungs
Pulmonary Edema fluid in and around the alveoli
Pulmonary Embolism Blockage in the pulmonary arteries
Seizure A sudden and temporary altered mental status
Silent Heart Attack Myocardial infarction that does not cause chest pain
Stenosis Constriction or narrowing of a passage way
Stroke A sudden stoppage of blood flow to the heart
Syncope A brief period of unresponsiveness
