hard hat a rigid protective helmet, as worn by factory and building workers.
ear plugs block out sound.
respirator an apparatus worn over the mouth and nose or the entire face to prevent the inhalation of dust, smoke, or other noxious substances.
fire retardant jacket a substance that is used to slow or stop the spread of fire or reduce its intensity.
face shield A face shield is a device used to protect wearer's entire face from impact hazard such as flying objects and road debris chemical splashes or potentially infectious fluid.
safety glasses toughened glasses or goggles for protecting the eyes when using power tools or industrial or laboratory equipment.
coveralls a one-piece protective garment worn for heavy manual work.
cut resistant gloves are those designed to protect the wearer's hands from cuts while working with sharp tools.
sleeves A long sleeve that is very wide at the top and narrow at the wrist.
dust mask A dust mask is a flexible pad held over the nose and mouth by elastic or rubber straps to protect against dust.
steel toe shoes protective reinforcement in the toe which protects the foot from falling objects or compression.
welding helmet performing welding to protect the eyes, face and neck from flash burn, ultraviolet light, sparks, infrared light, and heat.
safety vest these vests to help prevent injury to those who wear them.
hazards a danger or risk.
boots a pair of shoes some people use for work.
chaps over all that protects you.
full body suit a close-fitting one-piece garment for the torso often with sleeves.
gloves rubber things that fit your hands and protect it.
goggles eye wear that protects you from chemicals getting into your eyes.
harness a set of straps and fittings by an animal is fastened to a cart, plow, etc., and is controlled by its driver.
