Chapter 6 terms and definition

TermDefinition
First-angle projection Uses the first quadrant to project the object
implementation drawing object that has been visualized
multiview drawing drawing with multiple views
Normal views the front top, and right side view
Orthographic projection projecting 2 or more views by drawing perpindicular lines from the x,y,z plane to the object
Third-angle projection Same as first angle projection but instead uses 3rd quadrant
Visualization able to clearly see something
Glass Box Imagine box around object and you look in every side
Front view shows front view object so therefore shows width and height
Top view shows top view object so therefore shows width and depth
right side view shows right side view object so therefore shows depth and height
relationship of views views are used together to give a better understanding of a object
