| cloven hooves | a hard animal hoof which is split into two toes |
| aquatic animals | animals that live in the water most or all of the time |
| webbed feet | feet with skin connecting the toes |
| adaption | a change an organism undergoes in order to survive |
| learned behaviors | behaviors that are learned through experience |
| hibernation | a state of deep sleep |
| migration | the seasonal movement of animals from one place to another |
| dormancy | a period of the life of an organism when growth and development temporarily stops |
| instinctive behaviors | behaviors that you are born with and did not have to learn |
| pollen | reproduce |
