What are laboratories? a room or building equipped for scientific experiments, research, or teaching, drugs and chemicals
What are assisted living facilities? a residence for older people or people with disabilities who require help
What is the CDC? saves lives and protects people from health threats
What are Health maintenance organizations? health insurance organization which subscribers pay a predetermined fee in return for a range of medical service from physicians and health care workers

What health care facility perform special diagnostic test? Laboratories
What are health departments? a division of a local or larger government responsible for the oversight and care of matters relating to public health
What is HIPAA? Requires the creation of national standards to protect sensitive patient health information from being disclosed without the patients consent or knowledge
What health care facility provides physical, occupational, and other therapies? Rehabilitation
What health care facility provides assistance and care for mainly elderly patients? Long term care
What is the national institute of health? Nation's medical research agency making important discoveries that improve health and saves lives
What is rehabilitation? the act of restoring someone to health or normal life through training
What are school health services? improve the health and well being of children in school
What health care facility is located in large company or industry? Industrial health care
What are offices owned by one or more dentist? Dental offices
What is emergency care services? inpatient or outpatient hospital services necessary to prevent the death or serious impairment of the health of the patient
What is Medicare? health insurance for people 65 or older, some younger with disabilities
What is Medigap? various private health insurance plans sold to supplement medicare
What is OSHA? large regulatory agency that originally had federal visitorial powers to inspect and examine workplaces
What is TRICARE? receive direct payment from tricare for their portion
What is US department of health and human services? protecting the health of all Americans and providing essential human services
What are voluntary agencies? provides services to the poor, needy, neglected, the old age and sick people
What are preferred provider organizations? contacts with medical providers to create a network of participating providers
What is world health organization? specialized agencies and is responsible for international public health
What is the FDA? responsible for protecting the public health
