Synergize

Negative Synergy(mathematically) Hostility- 1+1= -1, -5, -10 Defensiveness - 1+1= 1/2 Compromise- 1+1= 1.5
Positive Synergy(mathematically) 1+1= 3, 10, 100, or more.
Synergy The whole (group) is greater than the sum of its parts.
Negative Synergy The whole is less than the sum of its parts
Steps to a 3rd Alternative 1. Define the problem. 2. Listen to their views. 3. Share your views. 4. Brainstorm 5. Create the best solution.
Synergizing is not Tolerating differences. Working independently. Thinking you're always right. Compromising (1+1=1.5). Aimless brainstorming.
Synergy is Valuing differences. Working interdependently. Staying open-minded. Finding new and better ways(1+1=3, 10, 100 or more). Getting results.
