18. tendon | a band of fibrous tissue that connects muscle to bone |

22. proximal | toward the beginning or origin |

24. erect | normal standing position |
25. prone | lying face down and flat |
26. recumbent | lying down |
27. abduction | movement away from the body |
28. eversion | turning outward ( ex. of a foot) |
29. arthralgia | joint pain |
30. atrophy | shrinking of muscle size |
