Diabetes Insipidus | Condition where large amounts of dilute urine flush from the body as a result of deficiency of aquaporins or ADH receptors in the collecting ducts |
Intravenous Pyelogram | IV injection of a contrast medium followed by an X-ray of the kidneys or ureters to assess blockage of the renal anatomy |
Nephrotoxin | Heavy metal, organic solvent or bacterial toxin that is toxic to the kidneys |

Renal Infarct | Area of dead or necrotic renal tissue due to blockage of the vascular supply |
