dialysis | a procedure to remove waste products from the blood of patients whose kidneys no longer function |
diuresis | the increased output of urine |
edema | swelling caused by an abnormal accumulation of fluid in cells, tissues, or cavities of the body |
end-stage renal disease | the final stage of chronic kidney disease |
enuresis | the involuntary discharge of urine |
epispadias | a congenital abnormality of the urethral opening (male=upper surface of penis, female=clitoris) |

hypospadias | the congenital abnormality of the urethral opening (male=underside of penis, female=vagina) |
