Accommodation The way the eyes can keep focus by changing the viewing of light.
Astigmatism A imperfect change in the curve of the eye that causes vision to be blurred.
Blind Spot A spot that is blind due to the eye not having any rods or cones in that particular area.
Cone The receptors of the eye that sense color.
Cornea The transparent layer at the front of the eye.
Depth Perception How well the eye can see things in 3D and how far away it is.
Hyperopia Distant objects are clear, but near objects are blurry.
Iris The colored part of the eye that controls the pupil.
Lens The clear curved structure in front of the eye behind the pupil.
Myopia A condition that lets you see things that are near but not things that are far.
Optic Nerve A large nerve that connects to the optic lobe at the back of the brain that sends information about what we are seeing.
