TermDefinition
Bay are inlets of water that are usually smaller than gulfs.
Cultivated forest useful trees are planted on farmlands after the removal of pre-existing natural forests by humans.
Environment is the conditions or surroundings in which a plant or animal lives.
Lakes are large inland bodies of standing water.
Minerals are naturally occurring substances (an element or compound) that usually form crystals and are the building blocks of rocks.
Natural forests are forests untouched by humans.
Natural resource are things, such as land, water, atmosphere and all plants and animals in an environment necessary or useful to humans.
Rivers are natural streams of water larger than a brook or creek.
Watersheds are the total land area that flows into a river, lake, bay or other body of water.
