cell theory | a widely accepted explanation of the relationship between cells and living things |

growth | size or stage of development |
hand lens | a magnifying glass designed to be held in the hand |
magnification | to increase the apparent size of an object |
reproduce | to reproduce its kind, as in an organism; bear offspring |
