How does circulatory system maintain homeostasis | 1. Body temp rises then blood vessels in skin widen so heat from blood transfers to the outside of body 2. Body temp lowers then blood vessels near skin narrow and squeeze warm blood to your organs |
What is blood made of | Plasma, white blood cells, red blood cells, platelets |
What is plasma | Liquid part of the blood that carries carbon dioxide out |
What are whit blood cells | made in bones marrow, has antibodies and fights diseases |
What are platelets | Cell fragments that cause blood to clot |
What are red blood cells | Hemoglobin that binds with oxygen and carries it to the body cells |
