Final Anesthetics Stroke Types

anesthetic drug/agent that causes a loss of feeling or consciousness
general complete loss of awareness or consciousness
local temporary loss of feeling in one small area of the body
regional injected into nerve/loss of sensation in a particular area
topical applied directly to skin
stroke loss of brain function caused by interruption of blood flow supply to the brain
ischemic stroke stroke where the flow of blood loss is caused by a blockage
hemorrhagic stroke stroke where blood loss is caused by the rupture of a blood vessel
transient ischemic stroke (TIA) Mini stroke caused by the blockage of a blood vessel that resolves itself within 24 hours
top heart chambers right atrium left atrium (keeps blood flowing in one direction)
bottom heart chambers right ventricle left ventricle (keeps blood flowing in one direction)
Rt side valves tricuspid connects R atrium and R ventricle pulmonary (lowest) connects R ventricle and pulmonary artery
Lt sides valves aortic (O2 rich) connects L Ventricle with out- going vessel Aorta mitral (non O2) connects L atrium with L ventricle
