cornea bends light, outer most lens
aqueous Humor the fluid made in the eye, filling the anterior (front part of eye)provides nutrients for the cornea and lens
pupils controls the amount of light that enters the eye
iris protect the eye from the sun, by using it voluntary control of opening/closing the iris
lens changes shape to focus light onto the retina
Vitreous Humor fluid in the eye, (posterior part) (back of the eye), helps eye keep its shape
retina shows our vision upside down. very thin, covered in sensory cells (sensory cells =rods & cones)
Blind spot has no function, but also in the area where there are no rods or cones
Sclera gives place for muscle to attach, also keeps the eyes shape.
optic nerve carries signals from the eye to the occipital lobe
